NOTES:

• Having the best weapons early in the game does not compensate for having a low Fanucci Gambit. Follow these steps to maximize your Fanucci Gambit.

Maybe there is another link somewhere about this and it is fine but really if you are a battler (or intend to be) it doesn't work.
Of the top 10 fame characters, only 2 are above Level 21, the rest are 19 - 21, though for some reason I can't see who is on #10. Ginzaki or a more experienced player can comment whether this is because of a game bug or not but assuming not.

If you are serious battler or planning to be, the purchasing might be more like below to be competitive at the lower levels which is where the fame is:

Any of the Level 10-19 items that Prof has listed above would be helpful, especially the Borphean Bascinet Helmet.

I actually let my two accountant alts sit for a while and am rather shocked to see of 5mil in their coffers so will be donating some weapons and armor here soon.
