| No more alliances as of yet. We are still with Forsaken, and our relation to Sirvivors has never reached my ears. We're always welcoming new friendships, but my diplomacy is not as wide spread as BGL Dave's is. | |

| Shendo, the leader of The Guard has generally been very friendly towards me and us (although I did notice him sending invitations to some of our members). That aside, as a fellow new clan, I've been trying to help him out with any questions he has with the game. I expect them to make the Top 10 clans by the end of the summer.
Florian Lights also pledged their support to The BGL when the CoZ declared war. They will likely be entering the Top 10 Clans later this month and will have a battle win % similar to ours. I have been avoiding attacking their members whenever I notice them (apologies to any Florian's reading this if I did hit you!). They're also a 'new wave' clan and I've found their leadership friendly. Once they both hit the front page, unless anything else changes, we should be on decent to friendly terms with all of the Top 10 clans.

| Whoa! Florian Lights?! They expelled my second character Kingmeister for asking for an alliance between our clans! If you already made an alliance they didn't tell him! | |

| I am deciding on making another character - not sure whether to keep it in BGL to farm or maybe join another clan to help them out. Anybody got a sort of inside scoop on other clans and their goals?
I really like the mission of BGL but if there are other clans that have good missions why not help out there too, right?

| I agree! I've been to many clan before I finally stumbled along the BGL. In all the clans I've been in, they have never had a project when I was in it at least.

I'd suggest messaging leaders directly if you'd like to speak with them, rather than joining their clan. Using this method, I have yet to be kicked out of any clan :-) Most clans seem pretty content managing their own business. The way the game is set up, there really isn't a lot of advantages to 'clan alliances', as no clan vs clan battle totals can be tallied, and there's really nothing in clans to attack of value (no looting, no territory to defend, etc). The main advantage I see to communicating with other clans is just in establishing friendly relationships with people that have similar interests. Most clan leaders are active like we are, so they generally fit that description. I don't mind offering suggestions or advice if it is requested by other leaders, and am happy to receive it too.

I really like the mission of BGL but if there are other clans that have good missions why not help out there too, right? Hey Kestrel, Try friend requesting a few of the other leaders, and then maybe strike up a conversation with them. Here are the missions I know or suspect outside of our clan. 1) Membership Drives: Clearly The Guard, Florian Lights and possibly still The Blackguard (unsure) are working on recruiting. 2) Attacking New Players: The Clan of Zork are geared towards attacking new players, specifically those they can find in The BGL. 3) GUE Arena Tech: I believe they are always working on fame in the arena, as evidenced by the top of the fame leaderboard. If you'd like to move through the game as quickly as possible, I'd suggest The Old Guard, Cult of Grue, or The Posse. You'll find ample high level weapons in these clans to speed you through the game. Other clans may have armories like this too, but these are the ones that came to my mind first. The Blackguard also has a really nice discussion forum, which I believe you could join even as a non-member.

| I'd like to see more of these friendly type clans on the leader board, rather than the um... attack for no reason and be a jerk about it type clans.
Pushing someone up the list is (imo) better than trying to push someone down it.
On the flip side - I'm sorely tempted to rampage through the ranks of a certain other clan and damage their Arena Battle ratio to push them down off the leader board. That's not my style per-se but I've been irked at some of the battle cries, etc. And the idea of attackin new members of a clan? That's just rude and indecent. Farming from them does 2 things - moves zm, battle ratio and fame from them to us, and keeps unknown or potentially well-intentioned clans from being damaged.
I feel a ronin type character coming on. I'd never go after another clan with a BGL character, but I could certainly do so with a new character...build it from scratch, use Profs Arena tactics, and do some damage... I promise not to say anything about it if I take that road though.
EDIT - Roy my friend, I won't mention any particular clan by name, coz that would be rude and beneath me. Also, Is it ironic if it's intentional?

| Which clan? Also the ronin thing... a bit ironic with your avatar and all. | |

| I'm working on a Ronin as well. He is highly specialized, and under the radar. I am keeping him a hidden as possible so I guess he is mixing a Ninja aspect. Either way, I've haven't allocated a single 'nut to his growth so it will be slow and steady. Think of it as a pet project. Something to do when I'm bored. Just like Laughing Man and NERV. | |

| That reminds me of the funny scenario of everyone assuming that Gintama is my main. He may have been created first, but he doesn't receive nearly as my love as Ginzaki does. | |

| Anybody notice a change in the top 10 clans? There are some mighty friendly ones up there. Which means certain clans are no longer on the "leaderboard". I guess some folks have been doing work. Congratulations on pushing new clans up the board rankings! | |

Congratulations on pushing new clans up the board rankings! If you get a chance, make sure to send the leader of The Florian Lights a congratulations note. I just heard back from him today and they all seem pretty excited over there. They seem to be recruiting with similar principles to us (only recruiting those who are not currently in a clan). I don't know the rest of their leadership crew, but their leader seems to have them headed in the right direction.

| Oh, one other thought.
I honestly don't see any need for anyone to 'spy' on another clan. This game is pretty simple... it's not complex enough for 'spying' to have any benefit.
Additionally, to clans with young leaders or over-zealous leadership, they can see it as a threat, or even claim that ideas/info that we have came from them, which is really quite absurb (considering we're one of only 2 clans to have a beginner's guide made a sticky post on the LoZ forum, and that so many older players have posted answers to about every question on the LoZ forum).
Generally, if you have any questions about the game, just post them up on our forum or check out the compiled guide Prof has put up. The leadership here can either answer all of your questions OR direct you to posts on the LoZ forum with answers that older players have kindly contributed. Thanks gang! I'm very happy to be a part of a clan that is built on building other players up rather than tearing them down!
