| This war with the CoZ does it really matter? I know we are now ignoring but our members continue to fight them don't you think our members shouldn't waste their AP with the CoZ? The CoZ are really taking this war seriously! My old spy, R.G had had noticed that they really wanted to crush our clan! I know this a bit old. But seriously we should just have the members work on themselves by trying to find good cards so when ever attacked by a CoZ member they have a way better chance of winning and no AP wasted.

| If the Clan wants to focus on another clan in the Arena, I'll gladly go to battle against them.
As it stands I just farm a few zm a day for the Armory, but I don't mind farming from CoZ members if it is a clan priority.
On that note, should we have a BGL battle cry?
Or is there one already that I don't know about? |

Or is there one already that I don't know about? No official battle cry. Mine is "C'est la vie", and it will stay that way until I think of something that I like better.

| C'est La Vie = That's life
Pretty funny actually.
My avatar is the smoking rabbit with the UPS uniform and wrapped egg...my battle cry is
"Delivering the goods since '72"
Yep, I'm that old. | |

| I prefer the more poetic "such is life" translation, but yes you got it, and I love the irony it entails. | |

| I am gaining enemies from CoZ. Looks like they are adding me to their enemy list, presumably to make it easier to find me & battle. Their battle cries are "Die BGL scum" type things.
I am focusing on bringing up my gambit via Fanucci rather than staying as a generalist, but man is it irritating to have to read the battle cry from these CoZ dorks. I mean none of this crap was done by me, and wasn't even condoned in the first place...ugh.
So is anyone really paying attention to this so called War? What are you doing about it?

| As of now we are just ignoring it. If they want to think that they are at war with us and that we are scum that is their business. My business is playing a game and helping others get better at it, through handed out equipment and prompt courteous advice. It's not much, but people enjoy the help.
Also it is possible to remove people from your enemy list so that they have to search to find you again.

| Taking them off your enemy list removes you from their list as well?
Listen closely as I slap my forehead and say "D'oh!"
Thanks for the tip. | |

Thanks for the tip. :-) Yep, if everyone did this (taking CoZ enemies off their enemy lists), we'd be giving the CoZ additional things to fill their time with. At the very least, they seem to be pretty grateful to have something for their clan to focus on, so in that way, we are helping them out too. The Beginner's Get Lucky, the CoZ Get Lucky (and with The Fame Farm, everyone Gets Lucky). Man! We must be on to something :-) I don't know how much interaction you guys have had with other clans, but I've enjoyed interacting with most every clan in the Top 10. Bar 1 or 2, they're all pretty positive-minded and generally friendly. I know some experiences with others may vary, but I've only had good interactions with the members of The Posse, P, Return To Zork, Cult of Grue, The Blackguard, The Old Guard, Army of Lights, Forsaken (goes without saying!) and especially with The Guard and Florian Lights, both of whom have expressed support of The BGL and irritation with those that would pick on beginners. If you happen to come into contact with members from either of these clans (both of whom I expect to be in the Top 10 by the end of the summer), please send them warm regards.

| I don't really interact outside BGL. Nothing against, I'm just in here doing my clan work and playing.
If there are any members in particular that you think would appreciate the BGL, what about inviting them or one of their sub-characters to visit the BGL (like New Recruit does)?
I wouldn't mind adding friends outside this clan.

| I try to make plenty of friends outside the clan. It strengthens bonds and I am getting my best face out. | |

| You were defeated by Farfethuger in battle. The beneficent protection of St. Quakko prevented you from losing any fame!
and you have just been CoZed!!
they found me. | |

| Now that Ginzaki has declared an end to the the 'war' that CoZ declared on us, I thought I'd post some numbers.
Total BGL battle wins since the 'war' started: 68,000ish Total CoZ battle wins since the 'war' started: 29,000ish
I'll see if I can find the exact numbers, but I say not too shabby folks, especially for a several month old clan taking on an established year old clan.

| I would like to pause for a moment to say that we do have three times the members and hey focused on fighting us. We focused on fighting, period. I do like the numbers. About 1.6k of them are mine alone. | |

Yeah, we do have 3x more members now, since we continued to grow after being around the same number of players and they kicked a bunch of players out. I guess recruiting more warriors is a wise decision during wartime :-) Anyhoo... I'll be interested in seeing what the end of this 'war' looks like in terms of battle messages to our members and daily clan battle loss numbers. If the war ending is more than just a written declaration, then we should see some changes, for which we'll be able to salute nerb for following through on his end. I'm curious to know if they'll open up their recruiting again. I kind of hope they do... not so that any of us can join, but because they are a clan that has the resources to be a positive contributer to LoZ. I always thought it was a shame they stopped recruiting because they were worried about losing level 1-9 items, especially when they mostly cater to level 10+ players.

| Nerb and I have an agreement to pass along battle figures to take action on people who are still targeting each others clans. | |
