I like the style, but I'd put it at
New Player: Serf Average: Squire Above Average: Knight Expert: Lord
possibly call our maintenance Clergy. Give it a whole medieval theme. I might be very interested in this one.

What are the criteria for advancement though?

I would probably put it along the line of attack power/fame/level. Get any one of the requirements like say for Squire you either get 250 ARDR/1000Fame/Level 15.
Something along those lines.

I stumbled upon a "troop tree" for England... Titles include:
Peasant
Footman
Sergeant
Man-at-Arms
Squire
Knight
Templar Squire
Templar Knight
If you visit that page, you have your fill of many different troop trees...

I think I've made a decision. I'll spend the next couple of days laying it out for the mods to see if it pulls through. If not we keep this page open.
